Oil-Resistant Compressible Buna-N Pipe Gaskets with Bolt Holes for Dissimilar Metals

The included plastic sleeves and washers provide a layer of protection against dielectric corrosion, which occurs when different metals are joined. Commonly called full-face gaskets, these cover the entire face of flat-surface pipe flanges and align with the bolt holes. They’re made of compressible Buna-N to ensure a tight seal. They resist oil, water, and salts. Gaskets are compatible with low-pressure pipe flanges; all gasket specifications are sized to meet ANSI standards. Each gasket comes with one full-length sleeve for each bolt hole, plus two phenolic and two zinc-plated metal washers for each bolt hole. Bolts are not included.

Water- and Steam-Resistant EPDM Pipe Gaskets with Bolt Holes for Dissimilar Metals

Furnished with plastic sleeves and washers to provide a layer of protection against dielectric corrosion, which occurs when different metals are joined. These gaskets are commonly called full-face gaskets; they cover the entire face of flat-surface pipe flanges and align with the bolt holes. They’re made of EPDM and resist water, steam, and salt water. They are compatible with low-pressure pipe flanges; all gasket specifications are sized to meet ANSI standards. Each gasket comes with one full-length sleeve for each bolt hole, plus two phenolic and two zinc-plated metal washers for each bolt hole. Bolts are not included.

Screw length is measured from under the head. For a tight seal, you’ll also need a gasket between the flanges.

18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel screws can.

316 Stainless Steel—Superior to 18-8 stainless steel screws, these won't degrade when exposed to harsh weather, salt water, and most chemicals.

PTFE-Coated 316 Stainless Steel—A slippery coating prevents these nuts from binding or sticking during installation. They resist rust in wet and outdoor environments and can handle occasional exposure to mild acids and chemicals without corroding.

Keep these packs on hand and you’ll always be prepared with disposable face masks, rubber gloves, and hand sanitizer packets whenever you need them. The masks and gloves are latex-free, so they're good for those who are sensitive to latex.

Made of 3-ply fabric, the masks protect you from dust, particles, and germs that may cause illness. They’re lightweight and easy to breathe through, so you can comfortably wear them for long periods of time. Elastic ear loops make them easy to slip on and off. All of the masks meet ASTM F2100, which means they’re good for general purpose use in dry environments, and filter at least 95% of bacteria and airborne particles down to 0.1 micron.

With screw heads and nuts that are about 10% wider than standard, these kits handle heavier loads by distributing them over a larger area. The head also gives you six, flat contact points, so wrenches and sockets won't slip and round off the drive.

ASTM Grade B8M—Also known as pressure bolts, these screws meet ASTM standards for use in high-pressure and high-temperature applications. They're also good for cold temperatures.

Steel Heavy Hex Head Screw Kits for Metal Pipe Flanges

All the hardware you need to join steel or cast iron pipe flanges. These kits come with screws and nuts in the right size and number to match your flange's bolt holes. With screw heads and nuts that are about 10% wider than standard, these kits handle heavier loads by distributing them over a larger area. The head also gives you six, flat contact points, so wrenches and sockets won't slip and round off the drive.

Screw length is measured from under the head. For a tight seal, you’ll also need a gasket between the flanges.

ASTM Grade L7—In addition to handling high heat, these screws stay strong in freezing temperatures without cracking. They're frequently used in industrial refrigeration systems, cold-storage facilities, and pipelines for oil and gas.

Zinc-Plated Steel—A common choice for areas with occasional exposure to moisture.

Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel—The strength of steel with the rust resistance of stainless steel. These screws are an economical alternative to 18-8 stainless steel in wet and outdoor environments, but they won't hold up to salt water and chemicals. The galvanized finish is thicker than other types of coatings, so the threads may be more likely to stick during installation. You can only mate these screws with hot-dipped galvanized nuts.
