    Self-Ejecting Lathe Chuck Keys

Image of Product. Front orientation. Lathe Chuck Keys. Self-Ejecting Lathe Chuck Keys.
When hand pressure is released, these keys automatically pop out of lathe chucks to keep users and machines safe from harm. Use them to prevent accidents that can occur when someone forgets to remove their key before turning on a lathe. Also known as lathe chuck wrenches, the long T-handle on these keys gives you the leverage you need to open tight lathe chucks. For a secure grip, the handle on the square-drive keys has knurled ends, while the handle on the hex-drive keys is coated with PVC.

Install and remove lathe collets from collet chucks and fixtures with these specialized wrenches. Fins on the wrench slide into slots on the collet. Choose the wrench that works with your lathe collet type.
Plastic Handle—Lightweight and economical, with steel fins for added rigidity. These brightly colored wrenches stand out on even the busiest benchtops.
Aluminum Handle—Knurled aluminum surface provides a better hand grip than plastic handles. When necessary, a cross-drilled hole allows for extra leverage. Just insert a screwdriver or similar rigid tool when more torque is needed.
External Hex Drive—Tighten and loosen collets by hand in tight spaces. You can also use a wrench or socket for more torque.
