    Heavy Duty Wire Rope Thimbles—For Lifting

    Also known as heavy-pattern thimbles, these can be used to reinforce the loop of a sling.
    Warning: Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.
    Galvanized Steel—Galvanized steel thimbles have a thick coating for corrosion resistance.
    18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel thimbles are more corrosion resistant than steel thimbles.
    316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel thimbles are the most corrosion resistant thimbles we offer. They provide excellent resistance to salt water and chemicals.
