Often used in can lights, these bulbs are comparable to PL, Dulux, and Biax bulbs. Change out your CFL bulbs or upgrade to LED. Select a light appearance to match your existing lighting. If you’re not sure what temperature you need, choose a bulb with more than one light appearance. You can adjust the temperature with a switch.

    Four-Pin-Base Plug-In Compact Light Bulbs

Image of Product. Back orientation. Light Bulbs. Four-Pin-Base Plug-In Compact Light Bulbs.
Swap out the four-pin base fluorescent bulbs in your fixture or upgrade them to LED. Often used in recessed ceiling lights and wall sconces, these bulbs are comparable to PL, Dulux, and Biax bulbs. Select a light appearance to match your existing lighting. If you’re not sure what temperature you need, choose a bulb with more than one light appearance. You can adjust the temperature with a switch. All bulbs can be used in horizontal or vertical operating positions.
LED—LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than CFL bulbs. They work with most electronic ballasts, so you can use them in existing fixtures without rewiring the socket. Check if your ballast is compatible by selecting a part number and clicking product detail. To avoid future maintenance, you can also remove the ballast from your fixture and wire the socket directly to the power source.
CFL—CFL bulbs contain small amounts of mercury. For disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl.
Cannot Be Sold To—Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed areas do not meet local regulations for mercury content or energy efficiency.

Disinfect air, water, and surfaces without chemical cleaners. These light bulbs use shortwave ultraviolet radiation, also called UV-C, to kill viruses and bacteria. They’re often used in surface cleaning lights, air purifiers, and water treatment systems.
Ultraviolet radiation can harm your skin and eyes. For safety, install these bulbs in fixtures with UV protection or wear UV-protective gear while using them.
Rated Life—The length of time these bulbs will effectively kill germs. Replace them after the listed period, even if they still light up.
