    MR16 Bulb Shape

Often used in display and landscape lighting, these small bulbs produce a focused beam of light. Bulbs that are 50W or higher are often used in overhead projectors and microscopes. They’re brightest at the center of their beam angle; the edges of the beam are about half as bright. The narrower the beam, the more concentrated the light.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Light Bulbs. Prefocus-Base Miniature Light Bulbs.
Often used as the light source in microscopes, inspection instruments, and industrial testing equipment. A prefocus collar fixes the bulb in place for accurate beam focus. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb.
