Paste threadlockers are easy to apply and won't drip, even from overhead fasteners. These threadlockers bond slightly oily parts. They begin to harden once coated surfaces are threaded together and exposure to air is blocked.
Medium Locking Strength—Threadlockers with medium locking strength require a hand tool to unthread.
High Locking Strength—Threadlockers with high locking strength require both heat and a hand tool to unthread.
