    Weighted-Base Gooseneck-Arm Workstation Magnifiers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Magnifiers. Weighted-Base Gooseneck-Arm Workstation Magnifiers.
A weighted base keeps this magnifier stable on your workbench without clamping, so you can reposition it freely. The flexible gooseneck holds any position you set for hands-free magnification right where you need it. Use it for detail work like soldering, inspection, or assembly.

Weighted-Base Gooseneck-Arm Workstation Magnifiers with Lamp

Image of Product. Front orientation. Magnifiers. Weighted-Base Gooseneck-Arm Workstation Magnifiers with Lamp.
Bend the lamp and magnifying lens to any position—they’re mounted on separate arms for a flexible, hands-free setup. These magnifiers have a weighted base that holds them in place while you inspect parts, record observations, and make repairs with both hands. Peer through the bifocal lens to view parts at four times their size. Or angle the lamp to spot issues that are difficult to detect under overhead light, such as surface scratches or soldering defects.

    Illuminated Weighted-Base Workstation Magnifiers

Sturdy but flexible, these illuminated magnifiers have a weighted base to keep them still without tethering them to your workbench. A ring of LEDs creates even lighting for shadow-free inspections of electronics, soldered assemblies, and other parts full of nooks and crevices. Adjust the brightness with the dimmer to reduce glare on reflective surfaces. The sturdy pivoting arm holds its position more rigidly than gooseneck arms.
Use an add-on lens for greater magnification. To calculate overall magnification, add the magnification strength of the add-on lens with the strength of the existing lens.

Aluminum Arm—Magnifiers with an aluminum arm are lighter in weight than those with a steel arm.
Steel Arm—Magnifiers with a steel arm are more durable and less likely to dent than those with an aluminum arm.
Enclosed Spring—Magnifiers with an enclosed spring block debris from getting stuck and hindering arm movement.
Open Spring—Magnifiers with an open spring are lightweight and have knobs at the top of the arm to precisely adjust the position of the lens. The springs are easy to clean but require more maintenance because dust and debris can get stuck in them.
Pivoting Head—Magnifiers with a pivoting head let you adjust the lens up and down independently of the arm.
Daylight Light—Magnifiers with a daylight light appearance produce a crisp and clean light ideal for inspection. They’re brighter than those with a neutral light appearance and highlight white and blue tones.
Neutral Light—Magnifiers with a neutral light appearance look less blue than those with a cool or daylight light appearance, causing less strain on your eyes over longer periods of use.
ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Safe—Magnifiers with an ESD-safe (electrostatic discharge) coating dissipate static electricity, so they won’t pass along harmful charges if they touch sensitive components.

    Style B

Though not as bright as our miniature fiber-optic lights, these lights are more affordable. With flexible arms, you can adjust these lights to direct light where you need it, even in hard-to-reach spots. Use them to illuminate small and microscopic parts.
Style A—Style A have a magnetic tray at the base to keep small components secure during assembly and repair work. For added stability when frequently adjusting the arms, use the included clamp-on bracket to mount on surfaces up to 2 ¾" thick.
Style B—Style B have an iron housing and glass lens for increased durability. Use the sliding control to dim the brightness.

    Sharp-View Illuminated Weighted-Base Workstation Magnifiers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Magnifiers. Sharp-View Illuminated Weighted-Base Workstation Magnifiers.
Make fine details and defects on textured surfaces visible. These magnifiers cast light from an angle instead of above like standard illuminated magnifiers. This creates shadows that highlight irregularities, such as a contaminant embedded in a sheet of raw material. The light is a bright LED that mimics natural daylight for a crisp, clear view. To prevent scratches that could block your view, these magnifiers have a glass lens instead of plastic.
With a weighted base, you can easily move these magnifiers around. They have a long arm that pivots 360° and stays steady even when there’s vibration. The spring that moves the arm is enclosed, which means it won’t get jammed from dirt or debris.
