    Made of cast iron, these covers are strong enough to handle high-volume foot and vehicle traffic. Use them to cover manholes on roads, parking lots, or walkways.
    Gasket—Covers with a gasket are used on sanitary manholes. They prevent sewage water from leaking out and contaminating surrounding ground water.
    ADA Compliant—Covers that are ADA Compliant prevent narrow wheels from getting stuck since they have 1/2" wide slots.

    Chain Lift

    A long handle gives you the leverage to safely remove manhole covers by yourself.
    Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
    Chain Lift—Lifters with chain lift are adjustable to fit most covers. They include a chain and hook to attach to the side openings of the manhole cover.
    Magnet Lift—Lifters with magnet lift have a retractable handle that can be adjusted to lift at various angles. They fold up for easy storage and have two wheels for easy transportation. Requires a lifting magnet (sold separately).

    Style 2

    Designed to support heavy loads, these grates are used to cover drains in sidewalks and roadways. Since they only require support on the two long sides, you can install them end-to-end over a long stretch.
    Choose a grate with a DIN load class rating that's suitable for your application.
    Style 1—Style 1 grates have small openings, so narrow shoe heels won't poke through or get stuck.
    Class A—Class A grates are best for areas with foot traffic, bicycles, and carts.
    Class B—Class B grates are suitable for areas with light vehicle traffic, such as driveways and parking lots.
    Class C—Class C grates can handle heavy truck traffic in roads and commercial zones.
    Class E—Class E grates are designed to withstand impact from heavy vehicles with solid tires, such as forklifts and cargo planes.
