Secure material into masonry and concrete—these screws have a hex head for a firm, high-torque grip. They’re also known as Tapcons. To create a pilot hole, use a hammer drill or rotary hammer and a compatible bit. Pull-out strength and shear strength values are 25% of the ultimate values.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The best choice for wet and outdoor environments. These screws have a stainless steel head to resist corrosion and a hardened steel point and threads to penetrate concrete.
