Beveled under the head, these screws give you a flush finish in countersunk holes. They’re also known as Tapcons. To create a pilot hole, use a hammer drill or rotary hammer and a compatible bit. Pull-out strength and shear strength values are 25% of the ultimate values.

Zinc-Plated 410 Stainless Steel—410 stainless steel screws are strong, wear resistant, mildly chemical resistant, and magnetic. They have a zinc plating that adds extra corrosion resistance.
