Inspection and Measuring Fixturing
Use these components in coordinate measuring machine (CMM) applications to raise a workpiece and reliably position it on a fixture plate with 1/4"-20 holes. They are not for use in machining applications.

Hold-down clamps thread directly into a fixture plate, tower, or compatible component. Slide the clamp down its shaft and press into place against the workpiece for a light hold. They're also known as tension spring clamps. Wire clamps have a slimmer profile than standard, making them good for clamping small parts or minimizing contact area for additional visibility.

Machinable V-Blocks
Easier to machine than hardened steel, these blocks can be customized to fit a workpiece. Mount them to a work surface using the side slots and setup clamps.
V-blocks with clamp have a built-in clamp for securing workpieces.

Clamp-On Multimeters
Suitable for testing high current, these multimeters have jaws that surround a cable to test without interrupting the circuit. They include test leads to perform other electrical tests.
Average sensing multimeters take accurate AC measurements when testing equipment that has a linear load and draws current in a smooth sine wave, such as standard induction motors. True RMS multimeters take accurate AC measurements regardless of the load type or sine wave shape. This is important for testing electronic devices that draw current in short pulses that can distort the shape of the wave, such as computers and adjustable-speed drives.
Display count is an industry designation and not an actual value. For example, a 6,000-count multimeter shows numbers up to 5,999. A higher display count means the multimeter can give a more precise measurement.
