Metal-Detectable UHMW Polyethylene Sheets

If a chip of this material breaks off, it can be located by metal detectors to reduce contamination risks. Often used as machine guards and liners in food processing lines, these UHMW sheets have excellent impact resistance and a slippery surface that prevents sticking and reduces wear.

Blue—Blue material can be easily spotted for removal if a piece falls into a batch in food or pharmaceutical plants.

Metal- and X-Ray Detectable PEEK Bars

If a piece breaks off, there’s no need to worry that it will contaminate your food- or pharmaceutical-processing line. These PEEK bars contain additives that trigger metal detectors and are visible on X-ray systems for easy identification and removal. Their bright blue color provides an additional visual check to support compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food.

While standard PEEK bars are built for high-precision and structural applications, these PEEK bars are designed for environments where high hygiene standards are critical. They resist cracking, chipping, or flaking from bumps, scrapes, or impact. They’ll also withstand high-temperature steam and clean-in-place (CIP) cycles with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. Use them for guide rails and wear strips in food- and pharmaceutical-processing equipment.

Metal-Detectable Box Truck Tarps

Protect food inside box trucks, totes, and other containers while moving them around your plant. Made with metal additives, these tarps set off metal detectors if a piece falls into your line, so contaminated food won’t leave your facility. This helps you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. FDA compliant, they’re also safe to touch food. These tarps resist tearing and don’t let contaminants in. Throw them away when you’re done—no need to worry about cleaning them or cross-contaminating food.

These tarps are large and have an elastic edge that stretches over big, bulky containers. They should be used on containers that are at least 24” lg. × 20” wd.; anything smaller than that and they’ll be too loose and could get caught in wheels. These tarps can also be used on equipment and machines to keep them safe and dry during cleaning and maintenance.
