Steel Phillips Rounded Head Thread-Forming Screws for Soft Metal

Create a vibration-resistant hold in soft metals, such as brass, aluminum, and bronze. Also known as Taptite®, these screws have a tri-lobular shank that presses threads into material for a tight fit. The unthreaded lead-in point starts threads cleanly and keeps the screw aligned in the hole. The Phillips drive handles enough torque to keep drivers from slipping and the rounded head creates a finished look.
