    Stationary Surface Grinders

Image of Product. Front orientation. ZoomedIn view. Contains Annotated. Surface Grinders.
Powerful enough to handle industrial-grade grinding jobs, these grinders create tight-tolerance flat surfaces on metal workpieces. They have large dials and finely threaded screws that control the movement of the table and grinding wheel with extreme precision—each revolution of the dial moves the table just 0.1" and grinding wheel just 0.05". The table moves side-to-side on the X-axis and front-to-back on the Y-axis, while the grinding wheel moves up and down on the Z-axis. Secure your workpieces to the included magnetic chuck. A cast iron body creates a vibration resistant base for accurate grinding. They have a flood coolant system that protects workpieces from overheating, prevents the grinding wheel from clogging, and shortens grind times to extend grinding wheel life. The coolant system also keeps the air in your shop free from grinding dust. These grinders are wired for 120V AC but can be changed to 240V AC.
Caution: Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.

    Portable Vertical Grinders for Wheels

Image of Product. Front orientation. Vertical Grinders. Portable Vertical Grinders for Wheels.
With more power than angle grinders, these vertical grinders quickly remove large amounts of stock, rust, scale, and other materials. They’re also heavier than angle grinders, so they reduce fatigue when working on a bench. They’re good for heavy duty applications in foundries and shipyards. The threaded spindles accept grinding wheels. These grinders have a lever lock to prevent accidental start-up.
Caution: Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.

Light Duty Combination Disc and Belt Sanders

Compact and lightweight, these combination sanders are best for small projects and touch-ups. The disc sander smooths edges on small features, while the belt sander removes more material over a larger surface area. The belt on these sanders tilts, so you can use it horizontally or vertically. Use the miter gauge to position your workpiece on the table, so you can sand at an angle. These sanders also have a port that connect to a dust collector or vacuum system. This removes particles from the air and the surface of the disc and belt to extend their life. A belt-release lever enables you to quickly swap out your belt. Use them with sanding belts and adhesive-back sanding discs.

    Swirl-Free Electric Disc Sanders

Prevent swirl marks to leave a more consistent finish than rotary disc sanders. Also known as random orbital sanders, these sanders move in small irregular circles. No single part of the abrasive follows the same path twice, resulting in a swirl-free finish. A dust collection system draws dust through the sanding pad and into a collection canister. This keeps your work surface clean and reduces how much dust is kicked into the air. Use with hook and loop sanding discs.

    Electric Pole Sanders

Image of Product. Top orientation. Sanders. Electric Pole Sanders.
When you need to sand large walls or ceilings, these electric pole sanders outperform manual and cordless ones. Hook them up to a vacuum system so they suction to your workpiece, reducing how much pressure you need to apply and even how heavy they feel. With suction, they feel 60% lighter (about 3 lbs.). Adjust the suction strength to find the right pressure to easily guide the sander along your surface. You'll get all the traditional benefits of using a vacuum system too—less mess, cleaner air, and longer life for your sanding disc (sold separately). The dust hood directs dust and debris right into the vacuum. You can position the side handle wherever you need along the length of the pole to improve your grip.
Variable Speeds—The variable-speed motor lets you set the speed for any task, from heavy material removal to delicate surface sanding.
Cushioning Pad—A cushioning pad between the backup pad and sanding disc conforms to bumps and crevices to distribute pressure evenly for a fine and consistent finish.

Strip contaminants from metal surfaces without the mess of abrasive media. These blasters remove corrosion, coatings, and mill scale without removing underlying material. A rotating belt of wire bristles snaps against the surface to mimic the impact of blasting media. The impact of the bristles creates the same textured finish as blasting media for coating and sealant adhesion. Because they don’t use abrasive media, the only leftover material is the removed debris. This reduces cleanup time and keeps the surrounding air cleaner.
Since they clean only what they touch, these blasters work more slowly than abrasive blasters that sweep large areas. Use them for small- to medium-sized tasks such as cleaning weld seams and prepping parts for coatings.
