    1/16" Graduations

    Measure the distance your tungsten electrode sticks out from your nozzle for consistent TIG welding. To set the depth of these gauges, loosen the knurled locknut, then turn the threaded gauge rod. Tighten the locknut to lock these gauges into place. Once locked, insert your tungsten electrode into the opening to measure its stick-out. Tungsten electrode stick-out should not exceed the width of your nozzle.
