Multipoint Conversion Kits for Cam Locks and Latches

Turn your existing quarter-turn cam locks or latches into a latching system that securely fastens doors at multiple points. Start by connecting a cam latch adapter to your lock or latch to create additional latch points. Then, add a cam latch, two rod adapters, and a rod for each latch point you’ll need. All cam latches weld to the inside of your enclosure door.

Inline Roller Cam Latches
 |
Inline roller cam latches rotate more smoothly than standard inline cam latches, making them easier to open and close. The cam won't scrape paint or metal chips off the frame that can damage items in your enclosures. It also compresses a bit to help minimize rattling from vibration. Good for jobs when precise distances are unknown, these latches have an adjustable latching distance. Adjust the position of the cam before installing.

L-Handle Padlockable Multipoint Latches

Design a latching system that fastens doors at multiple points—for extra security, these L-handle latches have a spot for a padlock. The L-handle latch acts as your base. Then add the included cam latch adapter to connect to additional latch points. For each new latch point, you need an inline or 90° cam latch, a rod, and two rod adapters. Weld cam latches to the inside of your enclosure door. These L-handle latches come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance.

Tight-Hold Swing-Handle Keyed Multipoint Locks
 |
Pair a handle with a cam latch and rod to create a keyed latching system that securely fastens doors at multiple points. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the handle a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. Choose these locks if you need several locks that open with the same key.

Inline Cam Latches—Weld cam latches to the inside of your enclosure door. All come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance.
For 1 Rod—Latches for one rod can be used as the main latch with a handle to control one additional latch point. You can also use them as a final latch point along a line in your multipoint system.

Swing-Handle Keyed Multipoint Locks

Create a keyed locking system that fastens doors at multiple points. The swing-handle lock rotates smoothly when you lift the handle to latch and unlatch the door. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. This lock is often installed on server cabinets and electrical panels. It comes with multiple cams, so you can change its fixed latching distance.
You first need a swing-handle lock, which acts as the base for these locks. Add a latch point by connecting an inline or 90° cam latch using a cam latch adapter (sold separately). For each latch point, you’ll need a cam latch, a rod, and two rod adapters. Weld cam latches to the inside of your enclosure door.

Inline Roller Cam Latches—Inline roller cam latches rotate more smoothly than standard inline cam latches, making them easier to open and close. Tight-Hold Swing-Handle Padlockable Multipoint Latches

Join a handle with a cam latch and rod to create a padlockable latching system that securely fastens doors at multiple points. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. Also known as compression cam latches, these latches create a tighter hold than a traditional cam latch, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the handle a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. Add a padlock for extra security.

Inline Cam Latches—Weld cam latches to the inside of your enclosure door. All come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance.
For 1 Rod—Latches for one rod can be used as the main latch with a handle to control one additional latch point. You can also use them as a final latch point along a line in your multipoint system.
For 2 Rods—Latches for two rods can be used as the main latch with a handle that controls two additional latch points. You can also use them as a midpoint latch that is controlled by the main latch for operating yet another latch along your multipoint system.
