These pumps have a discharge hose for transfer applications and a vacuum breaker that drains the hose to prevent siphoning. A lever handle delivers fluid on both the forward and backward strokes for faster dispensing than other drum pumps.

These pumps have a motor that is rated for IEC Zone 1, Groups IIB and IIA; and IEC Zone 21, Groups IIIC, IIIB, and IIIA hazardous locations with flammable gases and vapors, so they can be used with liquids such as acetone, ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, and mineral spirits.

With a 316 stainless steel housing and a PTFE diaphragm, these pumps resist a variety of acids, alkalies, and flammable liquids such as phosphoric acid, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). They're designed for moving large volumes of thick sludges and slurries in demanding environments.

The fluoroelastomer diaphragm withstands higher temperatures than a neoprene diaphragm and has better resistance to fuel such as gasoline and kerosene. These pumps have large internal pathways and check valves with flaps to accommodate thick sewage, abrasive slurries, and industrial waste with large solids that would damage standard air-powered transfer pumps.

A cast iron housing and steel gears allow these pumps to be used to dispense oil and fuel such as hydraulic oil and diesel fuel. Also known as gear pumps, they produce a smooth flow of liquid for applications such as engine lubrication.
