For invisible bond lines, these adhesives dry clear. Epoxies are the strongest and most chemical-resistant structural adhesives. They bond especially well on metal. Choose an epoxy that hardens quickly for fast repairs, or one that hardens slowly to allow more time for positioning.
These adhesives come in two parts that need to be mixed. The container size listed is the combined total of the two parts.
Model Number E-30CL and Model Number 0151—Suitable for fiber-optic applications.
Cartridge—To mix and dispense these adhesives, you'll need a mixer nozzle and dispensing gun.
Paste—Thicker than liquid adhesives but still spreadable—good for filling gaps and covering surfaces.
Thick Liquid—Flow into narrower gaps than gels and pastes, but thick enough to stay put on uneven surfaces.

Form invisible bonds on lenses, displays, and other transparent plastic surfaces. These clear adhesives won't turn cloudy after hardening.
Apply an accelerator first to reach a full-strength bond faster.
Thin Liquid—Seep into narrow gaps and joints that thick-liquid adhesives can't reach. Use when bonding close-fitting parts.
Thick Liquid—Fill larger gaps than thin-liquid adhesives, so they're better for bonding slightly misaligned or uneven surfaces.
ISO 10993—Comply with biocompatibility standards for medical-grade applications.

    Optically Clear Light-Activated Instant-Bond Adhesives

Image of Product. Front orientation. Instant-Bond Adhesives. Optically Clear Light-Activated Instant-Bond Adhesives.
Take your time to precisely align transparent parts before you bond them. Instead of gripping immediately, these adhesives only harden when you expose them to a compatible light source. They also keep surfaces crystal clear because they don't cloud up after hardening.
Thick Liquid—Fill larger gaps than thin-liquid adhesives, so they're better for bonding slightly misaligned or uneven surfaces.

Create secure bonds between transparent parts that are already installed. Our thinnest adhesives use capillary action to pull themselves deep into close-fitting seams—like water up the roots of a tree. They also keep surfaces crystal clear because they don't cloud up after hardening.
Apply an accelerator first to reach a full-strength bond faster.

    Optically Clear Conformal Coatings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Conformal Coatings. Optically Clear Conformal Coatings.
Protect LEDs, solar cells, and fiber optics with a coating that’s clear enough to see through. These coatings let optimal light pass through and repel dust and moisture, so they won’t distort your view of what’s underneath. Made of silicone rubber, they won’t cloud in hot, humid environments. That means they’re great for use outdoors, such as on signs and instrumentation panels. These coatings are thinner than potting compounds, flowing into the smallest contours on your device to cover it completely. Silicone rubber conformal coatings are the most flexible kind of conformal coating, so they won’t crack or peel from vibration. To protect sensitive equipment, these coatings also prevent static discharge.
Simply spray these coatings on your device without needing a potting box or other container. Since they cure at room temperature, you won’t need UV lights or cure ovens either. You can remove them if necessary.
These coatings are IPC certified for use with circuit boards. They also meet UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance.
Cannot Be Sold Outside North America—These coatings cannot be sold outside of North America due to regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Clear enough to read through, these UV-resistant potting compounds allow optimal light transmission for use with LEDs, solar cells, and fiber optics. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, chemicals, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Rigid and wear resistant, epoxies are the strongest of the potting compounds. They have excellent chemical and moisture resistance, withstand a wide range of temperatures, and provide excellent electrical insulation. All require a mixer nozzle and gun to dispense.
Model Number ES1901—Loctite® ES1901™ comes with a mixer nozzle.
