    Electric Track Saws

Image of System. Front orientation. Track Saws. Electric Track Saws.
Take these saws anywhere and use the included track to make perfectly straight, splinter-free cuts in wood. They are also called plunge saws because they can make plunge cuts. Control the speed of the blade with a dial; use slower speeds for hard wood and faster speeds for soft wood. A second dial lets you have precise control over the depth of the cut. These saws also have a riving knife that reduces kickback by keeping the cut material from pinching the blade. Connect a vacuum hose to the dust port to collect up to 90% of the sawdust created so you can keep your work area clean.

    Bevel Cut

Make straight, splinter-free cuts in wood anywhere in your facility. Also known as plunge saws, they mount to a precision track (sold separately) and move along the track for a straight cut. They’re more portable than a table saw and deliver the same power as an electric track saw without requiring you to be near an outlet. A high-voltage rechargeable battery gives them enough power to maintain speed while cutting through thick and hard materials. These saws have a brushless motor that optimizes battery usage, so they run longer on a single charge. It also enhances longevity—they run cool and have few moving parts that require maintenance.
These saws feature two control dials: one for speed and one for depth. Slow the blade down for cutting hard woods or speed it up for soft woods. You can also raise and lower the blade to cut at a precise depth. To reduce kickbacks, they have a riving knife, a small piece of metal behind the blade. If the material starts to kick back, small teeth grip and dig into it. Connect the dust port to a dust collector to suck up the sawdust generated by your cuts.
Some saws include rechargeable batteries. For saws where they’re not included, see DeWalt batteries and chargers and Milwaukee batteries and chargers.

    Plunge Base

Pair with router bits to cut grooves, chamfers, and other detailed shapes in panels, sheets, and other large surfaces. Guide these routers by hand or use them with a router table.
Fixed Base—Routers with a fixed base hold the bit at a fixed height while routing and are not recommended for plunge cutting.
Plunge Base—Routers with a plunge base have a spring-locked lever for smooth plunging action as well as a control on the handle for precise plunge-depth setting. The power switch is also on the handle, so it’s easy to start and stop the router without moving your hands.
Fixed Base and Plunge Base—Routers with fixed and plunge bases have removable bases to switch between fixed and plunge routing. After attaching the plunge base, press the body of the router downward to perform plunge cuts; use controls on the base to make adjustments to the plunge depth.
Variable Speeds—Variable-speed routers have a six-position speed control.
Cannot Be Sold Outside United States—Routers cannot be sold outside the United States due to supplier restrictions.

    Round

    Arbor

Make perfectly straight cuts in wood, plywood, and particleboard with minimal splintering. These blades fit in your track saw to cut along the precision track. They make straight and plunge cuts, so they’re good for cutting a sheet of wood into precise pieces before fabrication or construction.
When choosing a blade, you’ll want to keep in mind the number of teeth and cut width. Choose more teeth for cutting across the grain or when you want a smoother cut; choose fewer teeth for cutting with the grain (ripping) or when you want a faster cut. Blades with fewer teeth also cut thicker materials. A narrower cut width makes faster cuts with minimal material loss; a wider cut width increases stability for straighter cuts.
Warning: Use blades that have a greater rpm rating than the no-load rpm of your saw.
Anti-Vibration Vents—Blades with anti-vibration vents add stability for even straighter, more accurate cuts. They have a coating that resists heat buildup when cutting, which helps keep them sharp. They stay cool as you cut, so sawdust won’t stick to them as easily, and they won’t burn your wood.
