Passivated Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel Rods

These rods have been passivated for enhanced corrosion resistance. One of the most corrosion-resistant types of stainless steel, 316 stands up to the harshest chemicals, including bleach, chlorine, and phosphoric acid. It's a step up from 304, which has similar strength and temperature performance. Use it in a variety of marine and chemical-processing applications. It maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1600° F.

Passivated Multipurpose 304 Stainless Steel Rods

Withstand corrosion better than standard 304 stainless steel rods. These rods are passivated to wash away surface particles that could cause rust. They’re often used in food, medical, marine, and washdown areas where contamination or rust could compromise quality. 304 stainless steel is a good all-around choice that maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1500° F.
304/304L Stainless Steel—Dual certified, choose 304/304L whether you need 304, 304L, or an alloy that captures the benefits of both. Low carbon content improves weldability while maintaining corrosion resistance and strength.
