    Wear‑Resistant High‑Temperature PEEK Rods

Keeping their shape in hot and fluctuating temperatures, these PEEK rods also resist cracking, chipping, and flaking from repeated stress. In addition, acids, solvents, and hydrocarbons won't break them down. Use them for rollers and guide components in semiconductor and electronics equipment or for valve stems and shaft components in chemical processing equipment.

    Extra-Low-Friction PEEK Rods

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Extra-Low-Friction PEEK Rods.
Our slickest, most machinable PEEK rods. These rods are often referred to as bearing grade PEEK. They’re filled with carbon fiber, graphite, and PTFE, so their composition enables tighter tolerances and cleaner finishes than standard PEEK. Use these rods to create bushings, bearings, and seals where service life is critical, such as in aerospace, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.

    Plastic Washers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Washers. Plastic Washers.
All of these washers are lightweight, nonconductive, and naturally rust resistant. They are commonly used in electronics and automation applications to take the pressure off screws and nuts and protect mounting surfaces.
High-Strength High-Temperature PEEK—These washers bear heavier loads than most other plastic washers. In addition, they won't melt or deform when exposed to high temperatures up to 550° F. PEEK washers aren't very impact resistant, however, so they may crack or dent if subjected to hard bumps and vibrations.

    Highly Wear-Resistant Glass-Filled PEEK Rods

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Highly Wear-Resistant Glass-Filled PEEK Rods.
Reinforced with glass for structural applications, these rods are stronger, stiffer, and more wear resistant than standard PEEK rods. The glass fiber reinforcement helps maintain their size and shape in environments with high and fluctuating temperatures. They’re well suited for machined shafts, bushings, and structural components in high-temperature industrial equipment and aerospace applications. However, the added stiffness makes these rods less flexible and more brittle than standard PEEK rods.

Metal- and X-Ray Detectable PEEK Rods

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. PEEK, Metal Detectable, Highly Wear Resistant, Ultra Chemical Resistant, Rod.
No need to worry that chips or flakes will contaminate your food- or pharmaceutical-processing line. These PEEK rods contain additives that trigger metal detectors and are visible on X-ray systems for easy identification and removal. Their bright blue color provides an additional visual check to support compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
While standard PEEK rods are built for machined structural and wear components, these PEEK rods are designed for environments where high hygiene standards and contamination control are critical. They resist cracking, chipping, or flaking from turning, drilling, and high-cycle operations. They’ll also withstand high-temperature steam and clean-in-place (CIP) cycles with harsh sanitizers. Use them for guide pins, rollers, scrapers, valve seats, bushings, and standoffs in food- and pharmaceutical-processing equipment.

Cleaned and Bagged Slotted Disc Couplings

Prevent contamination in electronics plants and other extra-clean environments. These couplings are cleaned, assembled, and individually bagged in a clean room. The smooth plastic center won't outgas much and won't collect bacteria, dirt, or dust.
Also known as Oldham couplings, these connect shafts that are in parallel misalignment. The center disc allows the shafts and hubs to slide independently, unlike couplings with centers that flex to compensate for misalignment. No lubrication required.
    Hubs and Discs
Image of Product. Front orientation. Flexible Shaft Couplings. Cleaned and Bagged Slotted Disc Couplings.
With two perpendicular slots (one on each side), these discs allow shafts to slide, adjusting for parallel misalignment.

    High-Parallel-Misalignment Slotted Disc Couplings

Image of System. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Flexible Shaft Couplings. High-Parallel-Misalignment Slotted Disc Couplings.
Unlike couplings that flex to handle offset shafts, these have a slotted center disc that allows shafts to slide independently to compensate for parallel misalignment. The plastic center disc also helps transmit torque while preventing metal-to-metal contact between hubs, so there's no lubrication required. Also known as Oldham couplings. For a complete coupling, select two hubs and one disc. Choose components of the same trade size to ensure they'll fit together.

With two perpendicular slots (one on each side), these discs allow shafts to slide, adjusting for parallel misalignment.
PEEK—Stronger, stiffer, and more wear resistant than nylon and acetal discs.

    Static-Dissipative PEEK Rods

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Static-Dissipative PEEK Rods.
Along with offering the strength and heat resistance of standard PEEK rods, these rods help safeguard sensitive components and processes against static discharge. They withstand acids, solvents, and other chemicals used in wet manufacturing processes, so they’re great for machining wafer-handling arms and process tooling for semiconductors. They’re also used for test sockets and circuit board-handling components in electronics manufacturing.
