A static-dissipative coating on these sheets prevents electrostatic discharge from damaging sensitive electronic equipment. They cannot be thermoformed because of the hard coating, and are for use in flat applications only. These sheets are made of cast acrylic, which is comparable to Lucite and Plexiglas® Acrylic. This material is scratch and UV resistant; it stands up to outdoor use better than polycarbonate and maintains clarity over time.

Clear Static-Dissipative Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate

These polycarbonate sheets have a static-dissipative coating that prevents electrostatic discharge from damaging sensitive electronic equipment. They cannot be thermoformed because of the hard coating, and are for use in flat applications only. Polycarbonate is half the weight of glass and is comparable to Lexan, Hyzod, Tuffak, and Makrolon. This material has greater impact strength than Plexiglas® Acrylic and can be used in similar applications.

Static-Dissipative Multipurpose Flame-Retardant G-11/FR5 Garolite Sheets

Offering higher strength and better heat resistance than Garolite G-10/FR4, these Garolite G-11/FR 5 sheets are suitable for continuous use in elevated temperatures. With a black coating that reduces static electricity, these sheets are good for use in solder pallets, automated test equipment, electronic assembly workstations, and other applications where static buildup could damage your equipment. The coating is cured, so it won’t chip or peel off. These sheets are made of flame-resistant epoxy resin and are easier to machine than other glass-cloth phenolics. A fiberglass fabric reinforcement keeps them from breaking or cracking when bent. Sheets vary in shade from yellow-brown to light green.
