    Ultra-Machinable Delrin® Acetal Strips

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Ultra-Machinable Delrin® Acetal Strips.
These strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be easily machined to close tolerances. They also have a naturally slippery, wear-resistant surface. Use them to make precision gears, bushings, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin, also known as acetal homopolymer, is stronger and stiffer than acetal copolymer.

    Clear Ultra-Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate Bars

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Clear Ultra-Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate Bars.
At only half the weight of glass, these polycarbonate bars are often used for windows, machine guards, instrument gauge covers, and signs. Polycarbonate is comparable to Lexan, Hyzod, Tuffak, and Makrolon. It has greater impact strength than Plexiglas® acrylic and can be used in similar applications.

    Shim Stock

Image of Product. Front orientation. Shim Stock. Sold Individually.
Cut into custom shapes to create shims that suit your needs. With thickness tolerances as fine as a strand of hair, the shims will precisely align, space, and level components on dies, presses, and machinery.
You can stack multiple shims to achieve your exact thickness, but stacking more than four may cause them to shift. Remember, fewer shims are better, so a couple of thicker shims are more stable than a bunch of thin shims.
Ultra-Chemical-Resistant PTFE—The most chemical-resistant shim stock we offer, it stands up to the widest range of harsh acids, bases, solvents, and corrosive cleaners, even at temperatures up to 500° F. It also won't mar delicate surfaces.

    Ultra-Low-Friction Delrin® Acetal Strips

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Ultra-Low-Friction Delrin® Acetal Strips.
The addition of PTFE provides a more slippery, wear-resistant surface than standard Delrin® acetal resin. These strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be machined to close tolerances. Fabricate them into pump components, gears, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin is also known as acetal homopolymer.
