Multipurpose Flame-Retardant Garolite G-10/FR4 Sheets and Bars

A good all-around choice, these Garolite G-10/FR4 sheets and bars are strong, machinable, and electrically insulating. They're made of a flame-retardant epoxy resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-10/FR4 is also called epoxy-grade industrial laminate and phenolic.

Ultra-Low-Friction UHMW Polyethylene Bars

In addition to having a low-friction surface that prevents sticking and binding, this tough, impact- and wear-resistant material handles the scuffs, scrapes, and strikes that other plastic can’t. Ultra-Machinable Acetal Sheets

Rigid PVC Foam Cores

Plain

Add stiffness to composite sandwiches without adding a lot of weight. These cores are lighter in weight than balsa wood and aluminum honeycomb cores, but not as strong. Their cross-linked foam polymers, however, make them stronger and more durable than PET foam cores. All of these cores are moisture resistant and offer good sound insulation. Use them in composite layups, structural panels, partitions, and industrial tanks.
