    Ultra-High-Temperature Carbon Fiber Square Nuts

Image of Product. Front orientation. Square Nuts. Ultra-High-Temperature Carbon Fiber Square Nuts.
Unlike metal nuts, these carbon fiber square nuts won’t warp at extreme temperatures, making them ideal for heat treating and furnace fixtures. They are lightweight with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and can be used for storage racks and shelving. Large flat sides make these nuts easy to grip with a wrench and keep them from rotating in channels and square holes. Not for use in oxidizing environments.

    Easy-Install Snap-In Nuts

Pinch the flexible nylon casing of these nuts to add threads to thin metal. Unlike typical rigid snap-in nuts, these squeeze into a square hole from the front or back of your material. Once installed, they stay put. They meet EN 61373, so they’re certified for use in environments with heavy vibration—think a bumpy railcar. NEBS GR-63-CORE tested, they’ve also passed earthquake simulations. In your facility, this means you can trust them to hold tight to sensitive equipment, like the servers suspended on your electrical racks.
Also known as cage nuts, they come in two parts—the cage and the nut—that you combine before installation. Threads float inside the cage, so you can fasten a bolt at a slight angle to align with off-center parts.

    Grounding Snap-In Nuts

Pave a safe path for electricity—these snap-in nuts dig into the mounting surface and cut through coatings to touch the metal below for a proper ground. They’re often used to mount servers and other equipment into electronics racks. All meet EIA-310 (Electronic Industries Alliance) specifications for use in standard 19" electronics racks. Simply snap these nuts, also known as cage nuts, into square holes.
These snap-in nuts have a flexible nylon casing, so you can install them with a pinch. Unlike rigid snap-in nuts, you can squeeze them into a hole from either side. As you fasten a bolt, the nut in the casing is pulled up, pushing its teeth into the mounting surface.
