    Style C

    These tensioners apply extreme tension on plastic strapping to hold it tight around packages. They hold the bottom strap and tension the top strap by winding it around a take-up wheel. They have a built-in cutter for removing excess strapping.
    Note: To match with compatible strapping, choose items with the same strapping material, width, and thickness or material and strapping group number.
    Soft Gripping Foot—Tensioners with a soft gripping foot won’t fray strapping as you tighten, so they’re often used on soft, woven strapping. The smooth teeth on the foot aren’t as sharp as the inclined teeth on a standard gripping foot, but they still have a strong hold.

    The plastic strapping in these kits is lighter, safer, and more flexible than metal strapping.
    Embossed Polypropylene—Embossed polypropylene strapping has a textured surface that grips loads and seals to reduce slipping.
    Woven Polyester Plastic—Woven polyester plastic strapping is shock resistant and elastic enough to flex with moving loads, making it less likely to cut into packages than embossed strapping. Cross threads keep it from tearing and fraying. The surface is uneven, so thickness is an estimate.
