These nuts sit flush in panels for a smooth surface, so they fit in cramped enclosures. You can also install them onto parts before forming them, since the head bends along with the metal. The hex-shaped head locks into holes when installed, so the nuts won't twist as you fasten screws.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these nuts resist rust and mild chemicals.
High-Strength 400 Series Stainless Steel—Hard enough to install in stainless steel panels. These nuts are stronger than 18-8 stainless steel, but not as corrosion resistant, so they're best for environments with only occasional moisture.
