    Propane Detectors

    An audible alarm and warning light alert you to the presence of propane. These detectors have a relay for connection to auxiliary alarm systems. A programmable timer allows you to set whether the relay alarm is triggered immediately, or after 4 or 8 minutes of continuous gas exposure.     Methane Detectors

    An audible alarm and warning light alert personnel to methane, so they can evacuate or take corrective action. A relay connects to auxiliary alarm systems to trigger building-wide alerts or automated ventilation shutoffs. A programmable timer controls when the relay triggers. Choose immediate activation or a delay of 4 or 8 minutes of continuous exposure. This helps reduce false alarms in environments with brief, transient gas releases. A reset button silences nuisance alarms and restarts the detection cycle for 5 to 8 minutes.

    Portable Multi-Gas Detectors

    When these detectors sense high levels of combustible and toxic gases, they alert you with an audible alarm, warning light, and vibrating alarm. You can adjust the alarm trigger points to suit your environment. There is also a motion sensor that sounds an alarm if the user becomes disabled.
    A calibration check must be performed on detectors before each use to verify that they are working properly. The check requires a regulator and cylinder (sold separately).
    Note: LEL is lower explosive limit.

    Economy Gas Leak Detectors

    Check for combustible gas leaks in equipment such as pipes, valves, and storage tanks. When these detectors sense combustible gas, they alert you with a warning light and a continuous beeping sound. Unlike our other gas leak detectors, these are compact and can fit in your pocket. However, they only detect combustible gas, not toxic gas.
    Static Absorption Detector—Static absorption detectors also indicate the presence of static that could ignite flammable gases or vapors. To ensure strong charges aren’t present, test for static absorption before entering an area to test for gas leaks.
