    Best for custom setups that demand powerful, controlled motion. Use these timing belts for linear applications or join the ends to create a custom belt. Their curved teeth fit snugly with matching pulleys to minimize play (backlash). That means these belts respond precisely to starts and stops, making them ideal for applications such as 3D printers. Compared to belts with trapezoidal teeth, these belts transmit about three times as much torque and run at higher speeds. All are compatible with Gates PowerGrip GT, 2GT, GT2, GT3, and GT4 series.
    Neoprene—Durable and weather resistant, but lose elasticity if exposed to oil and fuel. These belts are reinforced, so they're strong enough to transmit power without stretching. Plus, nylon-coated teeth minimize friction and protect the surface from wear.
