Ready-to-Use Steel Outlet Boxes
These boxes come ready to use with receptacles and/or light switches installed. Use the included plug-in connectors with wire leads to connect the receptacles and/or light switches. See information about NEMA straight-blade receptacles.
Flush-mount receptacles create a streamlined appearance—their flat face lies flush with the faceplate.
Tamper-resistant receptacles have internal shutters, which prevent the insertion of foreign objects and accidental contact with power.
Sure-grip receptacles, also known as hospital-grade receptacles, have an extra-tight fit when mated to remain secure in high-vibration environments.
Outlet boxes with GFCIs (ground fault circuit interrupters) keep personnel safe from electric shock by adding ground fault protection.

Multi-Outlet IEC Connectors
![]() Quad | ![]() IEC C13 Outlet | ![]() Solder Connect |
![]() Quick-Disconnect Terminal |
Distribute power from one electronic device to several others with these connectors. By housing multiple outlets in a single unit, they save space and time spent on installation. They’re compatible with IEC power cords, which are the industry standard for power connections. The outlets are C13 receptacles, also known as Sheet F outlets.
Wire these connectors into your device with the terminals on the back of each outlet. They mount to your device with snap-in tabs—no fasteners needed—but require a specific panel thickness and a precisely cut hole for secure mounting.
All meet international standards for safety. They are rated for Class I Shock Protection, meaning they have insulation and a protective ground.
Solder connections are more secure than quick-disconnect terminals. These connectors meet UL 94 V-2, which means they’ll self-extinguish within 30 seconds if they catch fire, but may drip flaming particles.
Quick-disconnect terminals are faster to wire than solder connections. The terminals slide together with the quick-disconnect terminals on your wiring and are easily disconnected by hand, but still provide a strong hold. Rated IP30, these connectors prevent objects larger than 2.5 mm, such as screwdrivers, from making contact with a live circuit and shocking you. They also meet UL 94 V-0, so they’ll self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread flames from dripping.

Drop-Down Extension Cords with Outlet Boxes
![]() | ![]() NEMA 5-15 Plug |
![]() NEMA 5-15 Socket |
Put overhead outlets in arm’s reach. These extension cords suspend pendant box outlets from the ceiling. Use them instead of running extension cords on the floor to reduce tripping hazards or instead of hardwiring power for a less disruptive install. The cord is flexible enough to loop and secure with a cable tie to adjust the drop height. They are designated SOOW, which means they have insulation that protects these cords from oil, water, and chemicals. Use them near greasy equipment or in damp workspaces without them cracking or getting brittle. If the outlet box bumps into your equipment, a thick rubber housing prevents damage.
These cords have a cord grip that fastens to the ceiling, making it hard to yank the plug from the ceiling outlet. A mesh extension wrapped around the end of the cord supports the weight of hanging and the strain of bending and swinging. On the other end, another cord grip ensures the outlet box stays connected to the extension cord. They meet OSHA requirements for strain relief. These cords do not support the weight of your equipment, so rest the outlet box on your work surface when in use.
