    Shock-Absorbing Ratchet Straps

    Rough roads don’t have to mean a loose load. These straps have a thick rubber bungee sewn into the webbing that absorbs jolts, thuds, and vibration—keeping constant tension on your load. Adjust the ratchet buckle one notch at a time for maximum tension. The webbing itself is made of low-stretch polyester, so while the bungee flexes to absorb shock, the strap holds firm.
    Warning: Never use for lifting applications.

    Track Fitting

    Replace the worn end of a strap or switch to a different end fitting. These fixed ends make up half of a tie down strap—secure the sewn eye to the bolt on the buckle.
    Warning: Never use for lifting applications.
    Flat Hook—Ends with flat hooks provide the most secure connection to rails or lips. They’re often used to fasten straps to the side rails of flatbed trailers.
    Wire Hook—Ends with wire hooks mount to a ring or eyelet.
    S-Hook—Ends with S-hooks mount to a ring or eyelet.
    Latching Hook—Ends with latching hooks mount to a ring or eyelet.
    Anchor Plate—Ends with anchor plates can be bolted to truck beds, the sides of carts, and other flat surfaces so they’re always in reach.
    Ring—Ends with rings slip onto bolts, pins, carabiners, or mounted hooks.
    Track Fitting—Ends with track fittings mount to E-Tracks, which are often used to secure cargo inside vans, trucks, and trailers.

    Latching Hook

    Pair these straps with pulling winches, also called hand winches, to move heavy loads. They have a sewn eye at one end and a latch hook at the other. Bolt the eye into the center of your winch drum. Secure the hook to a ring or eyelet on your load, and the latch will keep it in place even when there’s slack. The webbing wraps neatly on top of itself in the spool to prevent tangles.

    Adjustable-End Tie Down Straps

    Eye

    Create a strap to tighten around your cargo. Feed the loose end of the webbing into a tie down buckle or winch, then match the end fitting to the anchor point you’re securing to.
    Warning: Never use for lifting applications.
    Eye—Feed through themselves to create a soft loop that won’t scratch the connecting point. The eye can also connect to mounted hooks or secure directly over a hitch.
    Polyester Fabric—Minimal stretching makes this the most common webbing material for securing loads.
    Reinforced Edges—Abrasion and cut resistant. Additional side stitching shows wear early to signal when replacement is needed before it fails.

    Pull a stuck vehicle to safety or move equipment around your facility. Lightweight and flexible, these straps are easier to handle than chains. However, they’re not as durable. These straps also absorb shock, so they won’t snap back and damage equipment when you tug it free.
    Warning: Never use for lifting applications.
    With Eyes—Eyes slip onto a hitch or attach to a shackle. You can also pull one eye through the other to form a loop. Since there are no metal parts, they won’t scratch surfaces.
