Straight Flute |
These reamers fit in the chuck of drill presses, turret lathes, and other machine and power tools, making them the most common shank type.
Straight Flute—The most common flute style, these reamers are suitable for a wide range of applications, but not recommended for holes with a keyway or other breaks in the surface.

Press them into a fixture plate with a manual or hydraulic press for permanent installation. Also known as headless bushings, these ANSI-type P bushings don’t need counterboring to be mounted flush. They are made of hardened, ground steel that holds its shape and resists wear, so they last for many cycles without needing to be replaced.
