    Machine Vision Ring Lights

    Surround your camera with light for perfectly aligned brightness. These small and lightweight ring lights are mounted directly around your machine vision camera or vision sensor. You can synchronize these lights with your camera, so they flash as images are captured. To attach them directly to your camera, you'll need a mount (sold separately). If you'd rather mount them to a frame or stand, they have a T-slot on the back and come with mounting fasteners. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) for power.

    Rectangular lights shine directly onto items. They are brighter than round lights, so they can be farther away.
    White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work.
    Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects.

    Shine 360° of shadow-free light on objects under microscopes to make defects more visible during inspections. The even lighting these illuminators produce reduces glare and creates strong visual contrast between small components, such as parts on circuit boards.
    LED Bulb—LED-bulb illuminators use less energy, produce less heat, and last longer than fluorescent illuminators.
    Ultraviolet LED Bulb—Ultraviolet LED-bulb illuminators expose defects such as cracks and holes in parts when used with fluorescent dye or powder. They’re often used for leak detection and quality control testing.
    ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Safe—ESD-safe illuminators have a coating that dissipates static electricity, preventing damage if they make contact with sensitive components during inspections.

    Swap new circular CFL bulbs into your fixture or upgrade to LED. These bulbs are often used in illuminated workstation magnifiers. Select a light appearance to match your existing lighting. Bulbs with more than one light appearance have a switch that allows you to match other lights in the room.
    LED—LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than CFL bulbs. They work with most electronic ballasts, so you can use them in existing fixtures without rewiring the socket. Check if your ballast is compatible by selecting a part number and clicking product detail.
    CFL—CFL bulbs contain small amounts of mercury. For disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl.
    Ballast-Bypass LED—Ballast bypass bulbs also work with sockets that are wired directly to the power source, which cuts down on maintenance.
