    Installed

    This high-strength material is mildly magnetic and has excellent corrosion resistance. Install these rivets in countersunk holes and the angled head sits flush with the material's surface. They join material when you only have access to one side.
    A blind rivet tool (sold separately) with a nosepiece that matches the rivet's diameter is required for installation.

    Air-Powered Tools for High-Strength Blind Rivets

    With a high force-to-weight ratio, these tools are the muscle you need to install structural high-strength rivets in large volume assembly jobs. They can also be used to install standard rivets with minimal effort. These tools are more durable than standard air-powered tools and install rivets faster than battery-powered tools. Since they connect to an air source, there’s no need to stop your work to charge or change out a battery. A mandrel collector catches spent mandrels to keep them off the floor. The higher the pull capacity, the larger the rivet diameter these tools can install.

    Install blind rivets and rivet nuts with the same tool. These sets come with the nosepieces and mandrels needed to install the most common sizes of blind rivets and rivet nuts. Additional mandrels and nosepieces are sold separately. Choose the attachment that matches your rivet diameter or nut thread size.
    To install a rivet, insert the mandrel into the nosepiece of the tool. Place the rivet in the material and squeeze the handles. The tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet body to tighten it on both sides of the material, then breaks off the excess mandrel. To install a rivet nut, thread the rivet nut onto the mandrel, insert the nut into a drilled hole, and squeeze the handles to secure the nut.

    Vertical Air-Powered Tools for Blind Rivets

    Suspend this tool over a workbench for pull-down access in repetitive applications. Compressed air creates a vacuum that securely holds the rivet in the tool before installation and ejects the mandrel out of the tool and into a tube that can be connected to a collection container.
