Convert compressed air into suction for end-of-arm lifters. Also called venturi devices, these generators have built-in air control valves that let you toggle suction on and off with your robot’s program. They have a switch that monitors vacuum level, so you can tell if a part has been picked up. An LED display shows the vacuum status and lets you change setpoints.

These generators come with everything you need for quick installation. Use the hook and loop straps to mount them to your robot arm, then plug the electrical cord into the M8 connection at the end of the arm. Connect your compressed air line to the inlet. Last, run tubing from the generator to your robot tool.

Generators with rapid part release can send a burst of air to push a part off your vacuum lifter, so you don’t have to wait for it to drop. They’re often used for pick-and-place applications requiring high speed and precision.

Generators for nonporous surfaces are best for lifting smooth materials, such as glass and sheet metal. Use generators for porous surfaces to lift cardboard boxes and other materials that can’t form an airtight seal with your lifter.
