Comfort-Grip Wear-Resistant Rope—Not for Lifting

Also known as sash cord, this rope has a soft cotton cover, so you can grip it without hurting your hands. The braided cover protects the braided core from wear during use and has a glazed finish for added wear resistance. Rope knots easily and does not rotate under load.

Rope has a strand core, which allows it to bend freely. The core is polyester to give the rope stretch resistance.
Note: The safety factor for capacity is 12:1.
Nylon covers resist rot and mildew. Acrylic-coated covers have a clear acrylic on the outside to reduce wear.
Light Duty Wire Rope Thimbles—Not for Lifting

Use one of these thimbles to support a wire rope loop and prevent it from fraying. They are also known as thin pattern thimbles.
Zinc-plated steel thimbles are mildly corrosion resistant.
18-8 stainless steel thimbles are more corrosion resistant to chemicals than steel thimbles.
Warning: Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.
