About Air Preparation

Customize your air preparation system with dryers, filters, and other purifying parts.

Parker Modular Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)

Made up of a Parker filter, regulator, and lubricator, these FRLs provide clean, lubricated air at your required pressure. They connect to other Parker units of the same series with joiner clamps (sold separately)—even if the pipe sizes are slightly different—so you can customize your air preparation system. The regulator is relieving, so it will exhaust when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.

Safety Lockout Valve—FRLs with a safety lockout valve can be locked in the shut-off position to prevent accidental start-ups during maintenance and comply with OSHA lockout/tagout regulations.

Inline Components—Inline FRLs are the standard design. Each part can be replaced or repaired on its own, which reduces maintenance costs.

Stacked Components—Stacked FRLs have a filter and regulator joined top-to-bottom and a lubricator on the side. They require less horizontal space than inline FRLs.

Automatic Drain—Bowls with an automatic drain periodically release condensate into the air, eliminating the need for manual emptying.

Joiner Clamps—Joiner clamps (sold separately) create compact, airtight connections between components. All include a wall-mounting bracket, except for clamps in the PY3 series.

Brackets—Mounting brackets (sold separately) allow you to attach these FRLs to a wall or equipment.

Tamper-Resistant Padlockable Covers—Tamper-resistant padlockable covers (sold separately) clamp over the regulator knob to prevent unwanted pressure changes.

Safety Lockout Valves for Parker Modular Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)

Keep your air preparation equipment from starting up during maintenance. When these valves are in their shut-off position, they block incoming air and exhaust downstream pressure. You can use a padlock (not included) to lock them closed. These valves help you comply with OSHA regulations for lockout/tagout procedures.

Joiner Clamps—Joiner clamps (sold separately) connect these valves to another Parker modular component with the same series number. They create compact, airtight connections that are easy to swap out. These clamps come with mounting brackets to attach the valve to a wall or equipment.
