Check on your surface as you work to avoid over-sanding expensive or delicate workpieces. These discs have three holes you can see through and one for mounting onto your tool's arbor. They require a compatible see-through backup pad (sold separately).
Fiber Abrasive Backing—The stiff backing lets you apply maximum force on flat or angled surfaces without the disc collapsing or tearing.
Ceramic Alumina/Zirconia Alumina Blend Abrasive—Combine the fast cutting of ceramic alumina with the toughness of zirconia alumina under heavy pressure.
Threaded Arbor Hole—These discs don’t need a nut to secure, so they're quicker to change out than unthreaded arbors.
    Flat Disc—The standard shape.
Grit—The lower the grit number, the rougher the finish and the duller the appearance. The higher the grit number, the more polished the finish and the more satin or mirrored the appearance.

Keep a careful eye on surfaces as you create consistent finishes. Also known as non-woven or surface-conditioning discs, these have a nylon mesh backing that resists clogging and flexes to compensate for uneven sanding pressure. They’re good for everything from heavy cleaning to light finishing. Discs mount onto your tool’s arbor and require a compatible see-through backup pad (sold separately).
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive—The most versatile and affordable abrasive we offer. Aluminum oxide is the go-to choice for general purpose sanding.
Threaded Arbor Hole—These discs don’t need a nut to secure, so they're quicker to change out than unthreaded arbors.
    Flat Disc—The standard shape.
Nylon Mesh Grade—Use coarser grade discs for heavy cleaning, stripping, and deburring. Finer grades remove material more slowly, so they're best for gentle cleaning, blending, and finishing.
