Dual-Size 12-Point Impact Socket Sets


	Dual-Size View	12-Point Socket

Use one socket to switch between two fastener sizes. The spring-loaded innermost wall stays in place for smaller fasteners; push the socket onto a larger fastener and this wall slides out of the way.

With twice as many corners, 12-point sockets grab onto hex-drive fasteners more quickly than 6-point sockets. They also match the external 12-point screws commonly found in heavy duty vehicles such as bulldozers and excavators. Also known as double-hex sockets. These sockets are sturdier and have more give than manual-drive sockets, so they'll withstand the high torque and force of impact tools.

For easy tightening and loosening, these sockets have pins that grip the slotted sides on bearing nuts. These sockets require less clearance around bearings than standard hook spanner wrenches, so they’re good in tight spaces.
