    Steel Socket Head Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Socket Head Screws. Steel Socket Head Screws, Fully Threaded.

    Fully Threaded

Made of alloy steel, these screws are the standard for high-strength fastening. Use them in high-load applications such as dies, presses, and heavy equipment. The deep, six-point socket keeps the hex key from slipping out and damaging the drive.
Length is measured from under the head.
Black-Oxide Alloy Steel—Typically chosen for their appearance, these screws have a dark, matte coating to create a finished look. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, so they're best for dry environments.

These screws won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture and chemicals. Their deep, six-point socket keeps hex keys from slipping out and damaging the drive.

18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel screws can.
Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel—Superior to 18-8 stainless steel screws, these screws won't degrade when exposed to harsh weather, salt water, and most chemicals.

Stainless Steel Cheese Head Slotted Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Rounded Head Screws. Stainless Steel Cheese Head Slotted Screws.
These slotted cheese head screws won't rust or corrode from moisture and chemicals. They have a narrow profile, so they sneak past flanges and raised surfaces without snagging. With only two contact points, the slotted drive can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them.
Length is measured from under the head.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.

Steel Torx Plus Rounded Head Thread-Forming Screws for Soft Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Tapping Screws. Steel Torx Plus Rounded Head Thread-Forming Screws for Soft Metal.
The deep, six-lobe recess keeps drivers from slipping when installing these screws in soft metals such as brass, aluminum, and copper. Torx Plus drives withstand even more torque than Torx. Also known as Taptite® screws, these have a tri-lobular shank that presses threads into material for a tight fit. The unthreaded lead-in point starts threads cleanly and keeps the screw aligned in the hole. Their rounded head creates a finished look.
Length is measured from under the head.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common choice for areas with occasional exposure to moisture.

Stainless Steel Slotted Flat Head Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Flat Head Screws. Stainless Steel Slotted Flat Head Screws.
The most corrosion-resistant slotted flat head screws we offer. Made of stainless steel, they won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture or chemicals. With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.

    Stainless Steel Flat-Tip Set Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Set Screws. Stainless Steel Flat-Tip Set Screws.
These corrosion-resistant screws spread out holding power and protect surfaces from damage. Made of stainless steel, they won't rust, but they're not as strong as alloy steel. Unlike cup and cone tips, the flat tip distributes pressure evenly, reducing marring but not holding as tightly. They're a good choice for repositioning parts frequently on jigs, fixtures, and other applications where the tip presses against a flat surface.

Extended-Tip Steel Slotted Flat Head Screws

The tip on the end of the shaft guides these screws into holes, keeping the screw straight and threads aligned. Like a dowel, you can also fit the tip into mating holes to keep parts aligned or hold them together, such as on shafts and other moving parts. The slotted drive is the most basic drive style and can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools. Also known as full dog point screws.
Length is measured from the top of the head.
Black-Oxide Steel—Typically chosen for their appearance, these screws have a dark, matte coating to create a finished look. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, so they're best for dry environments.
Standard Profile—Standard-profile heads are the most common choice for flat head screws.
