Seismic Bracing Anchors and Brackets

These OSHPD preapproved anchors and brackets support threaded-rod-mount hangers during seismic activity. A complete seismic bracing system consists of an upper bracket, a lower bracket, and strut or pipe (sold separately). Brackets work with standard-wall (Schedule 40) pipe sizes 1-2 as well as 1 5/8" wide strut channel. Mount the upper bracket directly to a ceiling or other flat surface, or use an anchor to mount the system to angles, beams, and joists.
Upper brackets connect to the upper end of the strut or pipe. Mount directly into the ceiling, or combine with a beam anchor or angle iron anchor for additional mounting options. Brackets have a hinge that allows the system to sway during seismic activity.
Lower brackets connect threaded rod to the lower end of the strut or pipe. They have a hinge that allows the system to sway during seismic activity.
Beam anchors allow you to mount upper brackets to beams, C-channel, ceiling joists, and other flat surfaces. Their set screws have heads that break off when the screw is tightened to ensure proper installation.
Angle iron anchors allow you to mount upper brackets to pairs of angles, such as those used in ceiling joists. Their set screws have heads that break off when the screw is tightened to ensure proper installation.

Seismic Bolt-Down Vibration-Damping Mounts with Threaded Hole

Limit damage during moderate earthquakes. These mounts have a seismic rating of 1g (acceleration of gravity) and dissipate vibration and noise in compression and shear load applications. Use the holes in the base to bolt down these mounts to keep your equipment stationary. Neoprene rubber has good resistance to oil and gasoline. Mounts come with a bolt and washer for height adjustment.

Seismic Swivel Leveling Mounts

Adjust the swivels on these mounts to level equipment on uneven surfaces for protection during earthquakes. All meet NZS 4219, a New Zealand standard for seismic-rated components. Use the threaded stud to raise equipment for cleaning and inspection, and the mounting holes to bolt equipment down and keep it in place. A rubber cushion helps reduce vibration to cut down on noise, protect floors, and extend machine life. Made of 304 stainless steel, these leveling mounts won’t corrode from frequent washdowns and harsh cleaners.
