    Mount these flat inductive sensors to a base or rail to remotely detect metallic objects in wet and dirty environments. Because these sensors have a flat body and long sensing range, they are ideal for noncontact detection of metal objects in position sensing and part presence applications. Use them where cylindrical sensors will not fit. Sensing distance is based on the target material. The distance listed is for mild steel. All sensors meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
    IP67 Enclosure Rating—IP67 rated sensors protect against dust and temporary submersion.
    Flush Mount—Flush sensors are also known as embeddable or shielded sensors. They can be mounted so that the sensor face is level with the surface of any material, including metal. At close range, they are more accurate than projecting sensors and can be mounted close together without causing interference.
    Plug In—Sensors with a plug connect to cable with a socket (sold separately) for quick connect and disconnect. To view wiring diagrams for sockets with a plug, select the part number and click Product Detail.
