Slotted Brass Flat-Tip Set Screws

Made of brass, these flat-tip screws are conductive and nonmagnetic, making them ideal for electrical applications. Softer than most metal, the brass won't scratch or dent delicate parts. Unlike cup and cone tips, the flat tip distributes pressure evenly, reducing marring but not holding as tightly. With only two contact points, the slotted drive can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them.
