Sediment Traps


Removable Basket

Prevent drain blockage—these traps have a reusable basket to catch debris, such as metal chips and stones, before it enters your sewage system. For quick disposal, unthread the thumb screws by hand to access and remove the reusable basket. When the tank is closed, a gasket seals in odors.

Install these traps under your sink as a P-trap replacement. The tank and basket are made of polypropylene, so they resist acids and other chemicals.

Curb-Style Storm Drain Filters

Prevent rainwater from carrying trash, debris, and sediment into sewers. These filters are often used on construction sites. They mount inside curb openings, keeping them out of the way of vehicles. Push the foam anchors into a curb opening to hold them securely in place, even during heavy rainstorms. Connect them side by side or cut them to length to fit any drain width.

Sorbents for Heavy Metals

Reduce lead, zinc, mercury, and other heavy metals in wastewater and storm water while letting water flow through. Shape these flexible sorbents around drain grates and storm drains. The woven polyethylene covering is UV- and puncture-resistant, so they hold up well outdoors and on rough surfaces such as pavement.

Sediment Traps for Natural Gas

Get ahead of your water heater maintenance—these traps catch debris from natural gas lines before it can enter the tank. Also called a drip leg, these traps are often required by building standards. They’re plated in zinc, so they’re mildly corrosion resistant.

Install them after your shutoff valve and as close to the water heater inlet as possible. To empty the trap, unscrew the cap and dispose of any debris.

Filter Sleeves for Underground Perforated Drain Pipe
