    Push the spring-loaded pin or collar to fasten these shackles, then pull it to release them. Traditionally used to secure and adjust lines on boats, they open faster than shackles with a screw or cotter pin.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
    Collar-Release Shackles—Pull the collar or sides of these shackles to open them. The collar keeps the shackle closed and has smooth sides, so it won’t snag or open accidentally.
