Aluminum Oxide—Aluminum oxide cuts more slowly than silicon carbide for finer control. Also known as India stones.

Oil Filled—No need to stop and clean these stones as you polish—they’re filled with oil to keep debris from getting stuck in their pores. You’ll also need an oil-based lubricant to wash away debris and reduce friction and heat on your workpiece.

Handheld Diamond Sharpening Stones


Style J	Style K

Hold these stones with one hand to sharpen your blade at any angle. Our hardest and longest-lasting abrasive, diamond quickly sharpens blades of any material. Use these stones dry or with water. Rinse with water to clean.

Style J	Style K

The dimple-free surface sharpens blades evenly every time. Since these stones have the most abrasive, they also remove material more quickly. However, debris can build up rapidly, so you’ll need to wipe them clean more often.

Styles J and K—Fold the sharpening end into the handle for compact storage.

Clog-Resistant Polishing Stones for Steel

No need to stop and clean these stones as you polish—they’re filled with oil to keep debris from getting stuck in the pores. Use a holder to polish by hand or with a power tool (both sold separately). You’ll also need a water-soluble or oil-based lubricant to wash away debris and reduce friction and heat on your workpiece.
