Flatten air bubbles, smooth wrinkles, and squeeze out excess primer fluid when applying films and sheets to a surface. Tough yet flexible, these plastic tools hold up to firm hand pressure without cracking. The smooth edge and rounded corners will not scratch your sheet. Use them with both plain and adhesive-backed sheets, such as signs, labels, decals, protective films, and 3D printer sheets.

    Air-Powered Polishers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Buffers and Polishers. Air-Powered Polishers.
Connect to compressed air to remove deep scratches and other defects from surfaces. These polishers use rotary motion for faster, more aggressive finishing than random-orbital polishers. However, they may leave microscopic swirl marks on surfaces. Adjust speed without removing your hand from the tool—turn the dial with your thumb. Higher speeds remove heavier defects, and lower speeds reduce the risk of damage to delicate surfaces. Polishers have a two-position side handle, so you can hold them with either hand.
Attach hook and loop buffing and polishing pads to the included backup pad, or attach arbor-mount buffing and polishing pads directly to the threaded spindle.

    Light Duty Polishers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Buffers and Polishers. Light Duty Polishers.
A good choice for maintenance, delicate finishing work, and applying waxes and sealants. Also known as random-orbital polishers, these move in small, irregular circles. No part of the pad repeats its path, which prevents swirl marks. They also have a counterbalanced bottom plate to reduce vibration. Since they're not as powerful as other polishers, they will not correct heavy defects on your surface and are best for intermittent use, not routine use.
Use them with polishing bonnets and applicator bonnets.

    Ultrasonic Polishers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Buffers and Polishers. Ultrasonic Polishers.
The finest finish of any polisher we offer. These polishers use high-frequency vibrations to remove microscopic surface imperfections that are too small to see with the human eye. They’re ideal when you need a perfectly smooth, flawless surface in the smallest features, such as ribs and slots in molds and dies. When you adjust the stroke length, these polishers automatically adjust the vibration frequency. To reduce the risk of damaging your workpiece, they generate little heat and automatically shut off when you press too hard against your workpiece.

Polish hard-to-reach spots or finish molds and dies. Connect compact finishing tools such as lapping sticks or polishing bobs directly to these polishers, or add a tool holder to connect a polishing stone. Power them with compressed air to apply aggressive, back-and-forth strokes that remove deep scratches and defects. They must be used with compressed air filter/regulator/lubricators. Also known as profilers.

Give surfaces a swirl-free finish wherever your work takes you. With no cord to limit mobility, these battery-powered polishers are ideal for quick jobs where you don’t have access to an air or electrical power source. Also known as random orbital polishers, these move in small, irregular circles. No part of the pad repeats its path, which prevents swirl marks. Since they’re gentler than rotary polishers, they won’t remove defects as quickly.
Adjust speed without removing your hand from the tool—turn the dial with your thumb. Higher speeds remove heavier defects, and lower speeds reduce the risk of damage to delicate surfaces. Attach hook and loop buffing and polishing pads to the included backup pad.

Leave a smooth finish on surfaces anywhere—these polishers have no cord to limit mobility. Use them for quick jobs where you don’t have access to an air or electric power source. They move the pad in an aggressive rotary motion, which removes defects faster than random-orbital polishers. They’re ideal for removing deep scratches and making heavy corrections to your surface. However, they may leave microscopic swirl marks.
