Grip workpieces without scuffing, scratching, or denting them.
Flat Jaw—These pliers have a smooth texture for PVC pipe and chrome-plated fasteners.
Brass Curved Jaw—A softer metal, these pliers won’t mar steel surfaces. They're often used to adjust and repair molding equipment.
Curved Jaw with Nylon Jaw Pad—Grip round parts made of plastic, glass, and ceramic.
V-Jaw with Nylon Jaw Pad—With the most contact points, these pliers get the tightest grip on round, hex, and irregularly shaped workpieces.
Cushion Grip—Absorb pressure to make gripping and squeezing the handles more comfortable. They also add slip resistance for a secure hold.
Channellock—The original adjustable pliers that both tradespeople and maintenance crews rely on. Every component, including the distinctive blue grip, is made in the U.S.
McMaster-Carr Approved—In addition to Channellock and Knipex, we’ve handpicked these pliers from other high-quality manufacturers.

Grip and bend wire and other small workpieces without scratching or scuffing them.
Stainless Steel—Don’t risk contaminating workpieces with rust that can form on steel tools. Stainless steel pliers resist corrosion from moisture and chemicals, but they aren’t as strong as steel pliers.
Wide Nose—Twice as wide as standard-nose pliers for a better grip on flat connectors and thick wire. Also known as duckbill and flat-nose pliers.
Flat Jaw—The most common style, these pliers have a broad contact area for gripping objects of various shapes.
Brass Jaw—A softer metal, these pliers won’t mar steel surfaces. They're often used to adjust and repair molding equipment.
Cushion Grip—Absorb pressure to make gripping and squeezing the handles more comfortable. They also add slip resistance for a secure hold.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Adjustable Pliers. Nonmarring Precise-Fit Adjustable Pliers for Filters and Fittings.
For a perfect fit that won't scratch or deform parts, these pliers have the most jaw positions. They grip round objects such as oil filters, electrical connectors, and plastic hose and fittings. Push the button and slide the jaws to size. Release the button and they lock in place. The hardened teeth resist wear and prevent slipping.
Cushion Grip—Absorb pressure to make gripping and squeezing the handles more comfortable. They also add slip resistance for a secure hold.
Knipex—Smooth movement and strength that looks as good as it feels. These pliers are forged from chrome-vanadium steel and the jaws are ground until they gleam. All components are engineered and manufactured in Germany.

    Nonmarring Parallel-Jaw Pliers

For a strong grip that won’t damage your workpiece, these pliers have a parallel-jaw design with nonmarring surfaces. By clamping in parallel, the jaws make more contact with a workpiece than standard pliers and keep irregularly shaped objects from slipping forward when pressure is applied. It also means there’s less chance the jaws will nick your workpiece as they clamp down.

    Pliers

The soft jaws on these pliers bend and loop wire without scratching or marring it. Also known as round-nose pliers, these pliers prevent damage to your workpiece, but their round jaws don’t hold as well as flat jaws. Made from stainless steel, they’re good for environments where there’s moisture and other contaminants. They resist corrosion that can hinder joint movement, but the jaws will wear more quickly than steel jaws. The grips are plastic for comfort.
