Sorbents
Absorb spilled liquids and keep them from spreading. Do not use these sorbents with aggressive liquids, such as hydrochloric acid.
Sorbents for oil cling to oil but let water pass through.
Sorbents for chemicals, oil, and water are also known as universal sorbents.
Pads absorb small spills and can be used to wipe off equipment. Perforated pads let you tear the pads in half so you only use what you need. Pads with a coated underside have a plastic backing to prevent liquids from seeping through to the floor.
Rolls are good for cleaning up large floor spills and leaks around equipment. Perforated rolls let you tear them in quarters for small spills. 15”, 16”, and 32” wide perforated rolls have perforations every 12”. 30” wide perforated rolls have perforations every 15”.
Camouflage sorbents mask ugly spills.

Sorbent Pads for Floor Signs
Store these sorbent pads on your wet-floor sign, so you can quickly soak up oil and water spills while alerting others. Pads are high-visibility yellow and marked with Caution Wet Floor in English and Spanish. They attach to the handle of most folding signs.

Multi-Shape Sorbents
No need to stock several sorbent sizes—these unfold for use as a pad, roll, or pillow. Sorbents are approximately 5" wide when folded and 20” wide when unfolded. They are perforated every 16”.
Sorbents for Harsh Chemicals
Wipe up most small chemical spills, including fuming acids and strong oxidizers, from floors, work surfaces, and equipment. While these sorbents absorb virtually any chemical, they shouldn’t be used with hydrofluoric acid. They’re often kept on hand in labs and when manufacturing metal coatings and electronics. Since they don’t produce a lot of lint, these sorbents prevent static electricity. They also resist tearing.
Recycled Sorbents
Made from 80% recycled newsprint and cellulose, these sorbents are more absorbent than polypropylene sorbents. Note: Not for use with aggressive liquids, such as hydrochloric acid.

Sorbent Pads with Wall-Mount Dispenser
Soak up oil and water spills as soon as they happen—mount these dispensers on break room walls, near machinery, or anywhere spills may occur. To alert others of the spill, pads are high-visibility yellow and marked with Caution Wet Floor in English and Spanish. Refill pads are sold separately.
Clean Room Sorbents
Absorb spills, catch drips, and control leaks in clean room environments. These sorbents are cleaned and bagged and don’t release as much lint or dust as other sorbents. Clean room rating indicates the acceptable level of contaminants; the lower the rating, the cleaner the environment. Not for use with aggressive liquids, such as hydrochloric acid.
Pads are for water-based spills on floors and other hard surfaces. Pads sterilized by gamma radiation have been through a process to reduce the level of microorganisms. Pads in packs of 50 are individually bagged. You don't have to store them all in your clean room, and they'll still meet clean room requirements when you need them.

Work Surface Leak-Resistant Sorbents
These sorbents have a coated underside to protect work surfaces from stains and harsh chemicals.
Polypropylene sorbents are wider than paper sorbents and have greater spill capacities. Use them to seamlessly cover and protect surfaces. They’re commonly used in dentist offices and other healthcare settings.
Use rolls to protect large surfaces; trim them to the length that you need.

Acid and Base Neutralizers
Bring the pH level of acids and bases back to neutral, making them less hazardous. You’ll know the process is complete when these neutralizers change color. They’re often used on chemical spills in labs.
Choose pads and wipes for cleaning small chemical spills and residue on equipment. Pads are for liquid acids or bases. Do not use pads for acids with hydrofluoric acid or water.
