Barrel-insulated terminals have a plastic cover to prevent short-circuiting with nearby wire. Fully insulated terminals have a connection tab that’s completely covered, leaving no metal exposed when mated.

Nylon/polyolefin insulation is more durable than polyolefin insulation.

Designed for use in high-temperature applications such as motors, ovens, and furnaces, these assortments include a variety of terminals and splices made of heat-resistant materials. They are noninsulated, so you can easily inspect the wire connection. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.
